We are very close to finalizing additional capital and shipping, being an entrepreneur is very challenging and frustrating, especially when you have all your savings in the project, over 15 years and there is no weekly paycheck or security, which is why less than 3% of people start their own company full time. We Apologize for the delay in a update, but there has not been much activity while raising new funds until now.
Based on previous updates, if it was not for the breakage issues we had in the quality of the first mold manufacturing, we would not be in this predicament; requiring additional funds to pay for the second mold manufacturing, requiring us to raise additional funds.
Raising money is a very humbling experience, Peloton CEO John Foley had to go through 4000 declines before he got a an investor, We are going through a process where we’ve had significant declines, but now have a few maybes, We anticipate within the next 30 to 90 days to have the proper funding to finalize the product and move the company forward.
The majority of our backers have been very supportive and we anticipate once were funded to refund everybody’s total payment for the delay and also provide the product. Kickstarter is not a company or platform that actually sells retail but is backing start up projects, which has dozens of challenges before the product is completed for retail sales.
The Core 46 team is still 100% committed to completing the Maverick Core 46 and continuing the companies objectives and fulfilling its mission.

Core 46 funding & manufacturing

The second new molds cost almost $170,000 of additional funding far exceeding the funds recieved on Kickstarter, so as communicsted in the last update, we are still meeting with investors to raise funds and pay the unexpected manufacturing cost. The pandemic and economic crisis has made it more difficult to meet with investors.
We are committed to completing the Maverick Core 46 and appreciate your patience, as entrepreneurs we had andicipated challenges but this was much more than expected, but we have no intention of giving up.

As we communicated in the last email the manufacturer had indicated that they are willing to start manufacturing the middle of August, we finally heard from the manufacturer last week and before they start producing the product they want to be paid an additional $43,000 for all additional work. We want the product manufactured not only for Kickstarter but for Christmas sales. We have committed to much time and money in the Maverick Core 46, as entrepreneurs we expected challenges but this was much more than expected, but we have no intention of giving up. We are meeting with investors to raise funds and pay the unexpected fees, in order to have the product manufactured during this pandemic and economic crisis.
