 Hi,

                 We just received an update from our manufacture over Memorial weekend, the mold manufacturing started on 3-18-19 and completed approximately 6-09-2019, which is with the common 70-90 days to complete the size and detail of this mold. A few days after that date they will provide us first production samples that will be Fedex and inspected for any minor adjustments or blemishes.

CORE 46 MANUFACTURE UPDATE

 We have been waiting on a update from our manufacture, the mold manufacturing started on 3-09-19, the process of computerized metal laser cutting is going well with no issues. The operation will continue at the computers pace, unless there is a problem, there are minimal updates since its just a slow process of cutting metal. We will have another update from manufacturer in the next 4-5 weeks as we get closer to completion. We are determined to get the Maverick completed without any quality issues.

Maverick Core 46 New Metal Mold Update

We just returned from Asia and were able to reduce the mold manufacturing timeframe with the Core 46 Maverick manufacturer to implement the new molds from almost 4 months to 2 months. During the Christmas and Chinese New year’s the designers and engineers completed the new drawings and engineering. Injection molds requires the completion of engineering computerized CAD’s that is imputed into a mold laser machine which takes a VERY large block of steel and laser the pieces of metal into the product shape until the mold configuration is completed, which is the form of the product where plastic is injected to create the product (refer to attached photos). It’s more time consuming than redesigning a back pack or jacket. Metal mold laser cutting will begin March 9, 2019.

We have spent the additional dollars to make sure the Maverick Core 46 is of greater quality and function than the original unit, with over 109 different parts if one is defective it impacts the complete unit. We rushed the first mold and parts, resulting in quality issues, this time we are crossing all the t’s and dotting the i’s. Some kickstarter campaigns as Pebble smart watch took almost 2 years to finish, but the result was a high quality product; we require a few extra months but the result will be a high quality product.

Individuals that have started an entrepreneurial business from scratch can understand the obstacles and challenges. At Core 46 we sacrificed 18 years to complete the Core 46 XT, because of our passion to develop[ a quality product; we are equally passionate to complete the Maverick Core 46 at a high quality.

We just received the time line and cost from our engineers and manufacturers to correct the Core 46 Maverick breakage and functional issues, the holidays and with over 80 separate product parts the process had taken longer. We are reviewing the new timelines with the manufacture this week hoping to improve the timeline, will post final timeline in a update this coming week.

Our combined kickstarter and Indiegogo campaign generated $170,513 after crowdfunding fees and Funded today marketing costs, Core 46 received funds was approximately $113,000. The additional cost to correct the problem will require an additional funds of $54,000. When we completed our kickstarter & Indiegogo campaign we had hoped to break even, but with the additional cost we will be in the negative.

Even though we are in a negative cash position, we are committed to fulfill all orders. We plan on using internal sales from our premium product the Core XT 46. We are very short on staff and cash flow, so we really appreciated the support from all our Backers who have been patient and supportive. The few that have been-frustrated, we want to assure them that we are fully committed to resolving all the dozens of business challenges, but distractions will only slow down the process of manufacturing and shipping product. We will report new information as it is received from are suppliers, which will take time and resources.

The Manufacture for the Core 46 Maverick is finalizing new CAD designs to correct the breakage problem. We want to make sure the Maverick is equally perfect as the Core 46 XT. Every Backer that has received the Core 46 XT is very happy and loves the result, we want the same result for all Maverick Core 46 Backers. We will have a new time line at the end of December from Maverick Core 46 Manufacturer . Delays is always a part of the majority of new product launches, as oppose to having a defective product, so the majority of campaigns take more time to produce a quality product per survey below:
